One of the things most people don’t realize when they go to Disney World is that they have really great restaurants.
When you travel with kids, you usually don’t take the time for a quality meal. You are trying to get so much in that taking 1-2 hours for a meal just isn’t going to happen.
But when you come without the kids, you get the chance to try some of the best restaurants the parks and resorts have to offer.

Best Restaurants in Disney World for Adults
Tiffins at Animal Kingdom
Tiffins features food from Asian, Latin & African cuisines. It has an ecclectic blend of meal options and is great for those who want to eat things they normally wouldn’t find in an amusement park.

- Whole-fried Sustainable Fish
- Shrimp and Grits
- Lobster Macaroni & Cheese
One of the great things about Tiffins is that it also has a full service bar. You will find Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale Draft which is an African-inspired deep amber ale brewed exclusively for Walt Disney World.
This restaurant also has an extensive wine list that features global vineyards from places like Argentina, South Africa, & Chile.

Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom
The food on the Skipper Canteen menu is different than anything you will find at Magic Kingdom. There are an array of dishes that reflect the various cuisines of Asia, South America, and Africa.

Chefs de France at EPCOT
This restaurant will transport you to France with its French inspired menu and bistro style seating. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Disney World for adults because of the atmosphere and of course for the food selection.
Here is some of what you will find on the Chefs de France dinner menu:
- Cassolette d’escargots de Bourgogne au beurre persillé
- Filet de boeuf grillé (Grilled Beef Tenderloin)
- Ratatouille sur Quinoa
- Boeuf Bourguignon
Dinner Prices range from $25 to $40 per entree OR you can do a Prix Fixe Meal for $57 that includes one appetizer, one entrée and one dessert with a glass of either Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine list at Les Chefs de France is superb with tons of regional French wines.
Tutto Italia at EPCOT
The best authentic Italian restaurant in all of Disney World is definitely Tutto Italia in EPCOT. If you are looking for a great special occasion restaurant, this is one of my favorites inside a Disney park.
The four course dinner menu is one of a kind. You will find a little of everything. Here is just a sampling:
- Lasagne alla Bolognese
- Parmigiana
- Penne alla Vodka
- Fettuccine
Not to be missed is the desserts! You will find Tiramisù, Cannoli, & Torta di Ricotta al Limone among others.

Biergarten at EPCOT
Dining at this German buffet is like celebrating Oktoberfest in a beer garden! You will get to eat traditional German food, drink great beer, and be entertained the entire time by a live band.
The buffet is served family style. These are just some of what you can enjoy:
- Bratwurst
- Sauerkraut
- Schnitzel
- Warm Potato Salad
- Red Cabbage
- Spätzle
- Apple Strudel
- Black Forest Cake
And since this is a German restaurant you will find plety of German beer on tap and regional wines.
Best part of dining at Biergarten Restaurant is the German Band that plays while you eat. There is even a dance floor where you can take part in some German folk dancing!

Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom
If you enjoy exploring food served in a totally unique way, venture over to Pandora, the World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom and have a meal at Satu’li Canteen.
While this restaurant isn’t fine dining, it is a must do for foodies.
You will find traditional favorites redone in a whole new way, like the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods – Bao Buns. It’s like a cheeseburger, but not.
What this restaurant is known for are the protein bowls.
You will order by the main protein that you want: Sliced Grilled Beef, Wood Grilled Chicken, Chili Garlic Shrimp, or Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu.
After choosing your meat of choice, you will select a base. You may choose Noodles, Red & Sweet Potato Hash, Mixed Whole Grain Rice & Black Beans, or Romaine & Kale Salad.
Lastly ,you will choose a sauce. Charred Green Onion Chimichurri, Black Bean Vinaigrette, and Creamy Herb Dressing.

Cítricos in Grand Floridian
If you want to eat locally sourced food, there really isn’t a better restaurant in Disney World than Citricos. It is Florida cuisine with a Mediterranean influence.
Located inside the Grand Floridian, it is an easy trip by monorail from Magic Kingdom.

- Oak-grilled Filet Mignon

Jiko the Cooking Place in Animal Kingdom Lodge
Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort has some of the best restaurants. One of the most popular restaurants for adults is Jiko, the Cooking Place.
It offers a seasonal menu of African, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine. Here is some of what you will find on the dinner menu:
- Moroccan Lamb Shank
- Cape Malay Seafood Curry
- Botswana-style Beef Short Rib
- Sustainable Vulcan-spiced Fish
- Coconut-Curry Shrimp
Besides the food, one of the best reasons to dine here is to be able to see the animals on the property. Dining at Jiko’s will give you access to the resort and allow you to walk around outside the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort to see the animals up close.

Yachtsman Steakhouse in Yacht Club Resort
One of the best restaurants in Disney World for adults who are craving a steak is Yachtsman Steakhouse.
This upscale steakhouse isn’t limited to steak. You will also find plenty of other menu choices. Here is just some of what you will find:

Victoria & Alberts in Grand Floridian
The best restaurant in Disney World for adults is one of the hardest reservations to get. If you are looking to celebrate a special occassion or want a five star dining experience in Disney World, Victoria & Alberts is the reservation you need to make.
This is a fixed menu dining experience and you will want to come hungry. The entire 7+ courses will take you 3 hours to complete. Here is what you can expect:
- First Course: Imperial Caviar with Alaskan King Crab
- Second Course: New Zealand Langoustine
- Third Course: Glacier 51 Toothfish and Nantucket Scallops
- Fourth Course: Maple-glazed Manchester Quail
- Fifth Course: Texas Wild Boar
