While there is no bakery like in Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios, there are some great one of a kind snacks at Animal Kingdom.
Colossal Cinnamon Roll
Available at Starbucks & Kusafiri in Animal Kingdom, this cute cinnamon roll shaped like Mickey Mouse is the perfect snack for sharing. It is HUGE! There is no way one person can eat this, but it sure is worth a try!
It’s also on the Disney Dining plan, so it makes it quite the bargain to use for one snack credit!
While in Pandora- The World of Avatar, make sure you stop by Pongu Pongu for their signature drink, the Night Blossom. Tart and tangy, this delicious drink is just what you need to survive the hot Florida sunshine while in Animal Kingdom!
Chocolate Cake at Satu’li
This take on chocolate cake is completely different and looks like something you certainly would find in Pandora- The World of Avatar. You will find it paired with a Crunchy Cookie, Banana Cream and topped with Goji Berries.
Animal Candy Apples
While you will find Mickey & Minnie Candy apples at the other three theme parks, Zuri’s Sweets is the only place where you will find them shaped into safari animals like Pandas, Monkeys and Elephants!
Iced Animal Sugar Cookies
The iced cookies are almost too beautiful to eat (but you will want to eat them because they are super yummy!!).
If you are looking for a special treat that is sweet and will cool you off, one thing you can count on is Goofy’s Glaciers. You will find a few different flavors, but the best one is the Blue Raspberry.
Best thing about this treat is that it is lactose & gluten free!
Best Place for Finding Snacks at Animal Kingdom: Zuri’s Sweets
Zuri’s Sweets may look plain and uninspiring on the outside, but the inside is colorful and full of really neat safari themed giftware and one of a kind snacks at Animal Kingdom!
Take your time to browse through the entire shop. You’ll find a little bit of everything in the shop area from African spice rubs, ceramic animal-print mugs to Flame Tree BBQ sauce!
But the real reason to make a stop here is for the delicious treats!
There are plenty of other unique treats to choose from like African-spiced popcorn, animal-shaped lollipops, chocolate crocodiles and iced animal shaped sugar & gingerbread cookies!
Want something sweet to bring back home & enjoy later? There are so many sweet treats at Animal Kingdom to choose from that I really can’t show you them all.
If you are a fan of The Lion King, however, you will find a section at Zuri’s Sweets with bagged candy and treats that feature Lion King Characters.
And if you are looking for a savory treat, they have those too. There are even some things you won’t find anywhere else at Disney, like these Sweet Potato chips. They are vegan and gluten free!
On the Disney Dining Plan? You’ll find that there are a ton of items that qualify for snack credit. Even the bagged candy qualifies!
