Disney World Lightning Lane Rides & Attractions
Those planning a trip to Disney World will want to take advantage of Lightning Lane passes to get on the most popular rides. While it does cost extra, it will help make the most of your time in the park by allowing you to “skip the line,” so to speak.

Using the Disney World Lightning Lane System
Lightning Lane passes are available to all Disney World guests.
There are three ways to purchase and select arrival windows for Lightning Lane rides, and each option offers a different set of experiences to choose from.
It is possible to stack passes. For example, guests can purchase one Lightning Lane Multi Pass (which allows you to hold up to 3 Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections at once) and up to 2 Lightning Lane Single Passes per day.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort can purchase any of the passes up to 7 days in advance of their stay.
Those not staying on Disney Property can purchase any of the passes up to 3 days in advance of their park visit.

1. Individual Lightning Lane Pass
For the most popular Disney World rides & attractions, you can choose to purchase up to 2 single passes per day.
Price varies based on the ride & the date requested. It seems to range from $10 to $25+ per person.
Booking is easy on the My Disney Experience app.
2. Lightning Lane Multi Pass
This pass allows guests to choose up to 3 multi-pass rides or attractions per day.
Guests will choose a time for their first pass and then be able to book subsequent passes once the pass has been used.
It is also possible to use passes in different parks if guests have a park hopper ticket.
This pass includes Disney PhotoPass Service.
3. Lightning Lane Premier Pass
This pass is the most expensive option, but it does allow guests to ride as many rides as they can fit into a day.
The Premier Pass gives guests one-time entry to EACH Lightning Lane experience in a theme park of their choice for the day.
This pass includes Disney PhotoPass Service.
Prices for the Premier Pass vary depending on the time of year and park:
- Animal Kingdom: ranges from $129-$199 plus tax
- EPCOT: ranges from $169-$249 plus tax
- Hollywood Studios ranges from: $269-$349 plus tax
- Magic Kingdom: ranges from $329-$449 plus tax
