If you have a little girl who love the Little Mermaid, you are going to want to book a stay at Disney’s Art of Animation resort Little Mermaid rooms. This resort makes you feel like you have stepped right into the animated movie.
First of all, Disney’s Art of Animation resort is sectioned into different areas; Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
Three of the four sections (Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King) have family suites that will sleep up to 6 people (1 Queen Bed and 1 Double-Size Table Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa).
The Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms are the size of a traditional standard room (2 Double Beds or 1 King).
When you get to Art of Animation resort, you will have no trouble finding your way to your set of rooms. The entire outside of the set of Little Mermaid rooms features a under water theme with giant statues of Ariel, Ursula and King Triton.
Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms
The Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms are designed with the concept of being part of Ariel’s world. The headboards on the double beds are shaped like clam shells and the pearl in the center actually lights up!
You will find Flounder & Sebastian floating on the wall and even a picture of Prince Eric at the Helm of a ship.
Every part of this room fits with the overall theme and you feel like you have stepped right in the animated movie! From the carpet to the mirrors, everything makes you feel like you are under the sea!
They really were right on the mark with the overall design & details in these rooms. We absolutely loved staying in the Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms.
While Art of Animation resort is considered a value resort, it is a bit more per night than the rest. We felt like it was still a great deal considering it is one of the newer Disney resorts and has great features like a large pool and one of our favorite quick service restaurants on property.
