When you are preparing for your trip to Walt Disney World, there are many things you will need to do before you actually get to the parks. One of those things is choosing your FastPasses. If you are unsure which rides & attractions to choose, you are going to want to look at our Disney FastPass tips for reservations to make.
First, we have been asked the same questions over & over when it comes to Disney Fastpasses. These are the most frequent questions we get:
How Does the Fastpass work at Disney World?
Each guest that goes to Disney World can choose Fastpasses for the park they are attending.
The Fastpasses are tickets that get you in front of the line so that you don’t have to wait as long as the traditional ride lines.
It is a separate line that routes you so that you are ahead of the normal line.
How Many Fast Passes Per Day Can You Get?
Disney allows you to secure up to three Disney FastPasses for each day you are at a park.
Once you use those three, you will be able to add additional FastPasses one at a time either at a FastPass Kiosk or through the Disney My Experience app.
When Can I Make FastPass Reservations?
The most important thing you do when deciding which Disney passes to choose is to look at all the Disney World Fastpass Rides & Attractions and see which ones your family most wants to experience.
This will give you a starting point.
If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can choose your Disney FastPasses 60 or more days before your trip.
If you are staying off Disney property, you may make your FastPass selections up to 30 days in advance.
How to Choose the Best Disney Fastpasses
Choose rides & attractions that are not only important to experience for your family, but also those that are notorious for having long lines.
The most popular Disney rides & attraction can have lines that can last 1-2 hours. You don’t want to waste your day standing in lines.
Does Everyone Have to Have the Same Fastpasses?
Not everyone in your party has to have the same Disney FastPasses. If you are in a family of 4 and only 2 want to ride Space Mountain, the other two can enjoy a FastPass for something else.
The main idea is to plan your trips to the parks in advance so each person in your party is able to see & do what they most enjoy.
Keep in mind that you only get to choose three Disney Fastpasses in advance and they all have to be in the same park.
If you are park hopping, you can only make Disney Fastpass Reservations for one park which can make getting on rides a little tricky later in the day.
