The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade takes place once a day at Magic Kingdom Park and features many of your favorite Disney characters that don’t appear during other Disney parades.
What is a Calvacade?
The Disney Calvacade is a small parade.
While traditional Disney parades last upwards of 20 minutes, Disney cavalcades often last less than 5 minutes. But don’t let that keep you from watching!
The cavalcades pack a lot into a small amount of time!

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade Route
Just like the Festival of Fantasy parade, the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade parade route starts at Frontierland before heading towards Cinderella Castle and then down Main Street USA.
The parade begins at 5:10 pm sharp, so if you want to see it right away, be sure to be in Frontierland around 5 pm to find a place to stand.
If you are waiting to see it on Main Street, USA, it will be closer to 5:20.
What makes the Calvade Special
One of the unique aspects of the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is that it allows for up-close interactions with characters.
The Disney Cavalcades aren’t nearly as packed as the traditional Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, so you will easily get a front-row view if you are there a little in advance.
Due to its smaller size and slower pace compared to traditional parades, guests have the opportunity to get closer to their favorite Disney friends and even snap a picture or two.
