If you are planning a trip in November or December 2020 at Disney World, you might be wondering what to expect. With the Disney experience not what it once was, things will certainly be different. That doesn’t mean it won’t be wonderful, it will just be something new.
December 2020 at Disney World: What to Expect at the Parks
While there won’t be a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Parade as there have been in years past, there still will be plenty of holiday magic.
Magic Kingdom will still be decorated for Christmas and you can expect to still see it snow on Main Street USA.
This year, you will find processions of holiday characters through the park.
You might stumble upon toy soldiers marching down Main Street USA, or Gingerbread Men dancing or even floats carrying some of your favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday best.
Unique Disney holiday treats will still be available and you can find unique holiday souvenirs to bring home with you!
While Animal Kingdom doesn’t do it up like some of the other Disney parks, you can expect to find a few new holiday enhancements.
Your favorite Disney characters will be dressed in their holiday finest and appear in festive flotillas along Discovery River.
You will still find plenty of Christmas magic at Hollywood Studios as in year’s past.
Minnie Mouse will host a yuletide dining experience at Hollywood & Vine, inviting some of her best pals – including Santa Goofy – to join the fun.
This year, there will be merry motorcades at Disney’s Hollywood Studios featuring some of your favorite Disney characters!
Inside World ShowPlace at EPCOT, JOYFUL! will take guests on a musical journey of holiday music, while Voices of Liberty will use their eight-part harmonies to share songs of the season at the America Gardens Theatre.
This year, you will find a NEW holiday promenade at EPCOT
Elaborately decorated Christmas trees will spring up throughout Disney Springs.
There will also be a magical snowfall at Town Center, West Side and The Landing.
Santa Claus at Disney World
While you won’t be able to sit on Santa’s lap this year, Santa Claus will wave to guests as he makes pop-up appearances at each park, as well as Disney Springs.
