Disney World Transportation Options

When staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you are going to find the Disney World transportation a nice perk.

All Disney resorts have a complimentary network of buses, and some even have boats, monorails, and the Skyliner system to take you between Disney Resort hotels, theme parks, water parks, and even Disney Springs!

All complimentary Disney World transportation (buses, monorails, and boats) usually starts 45 minutes before a theme park’s opening time.

Disney World Monorail

The Disney World Monorail System has stops in Magic Kingdom park and at the Transportation & Ticket Center (where you can take a transfer to Epcot). It only stops at three Disney World Resorts:

Disney Bus Transportation

Disney World Bus Line

One of the most utilized of all the Disney transportation services is the Disney Bus Line.

All Disney Resorts provide bus service and when you check-in, you will be given a map showing you where the closest bus stop is to your room.

Buses run about every 20 minutes, so if you miss one, there will be another one coming soon enough.

You will be glad to know that bus stops are clearly marked and the bus will display its destination on both the front and side display. If you have any questions, you can always ask the bus driver.

They are just as nice as any cast member and want your trip to be a great one!

Disney buses will drop you off at the front entrance of the park at the bus terminal.

You will pick up the bus at the same location at the end of your day at the park.

Buses go to more than one resort, so don’t be confused if your bus stops several times before getting to your end destination.

No luggage or alcohol is permitted on the bus, but strollers are fine. Just be sure to close them before boarding.
