If you haven’t been to Epcot lately, you will be amazed at the transformation that La Hacienda de San Angel has undergone. Sitting on the banks of the World Showcase Lagoon, la Hacienda de San Angel is a top notch table service restaurant featuring authentic Mexican dishes. Without reservations, we were easily sat within 10 minutes of arriving. I started off with a bowl of Sopa de Frijol which was unbelievably good! If you love black beans, you will LOVE this soup. My husband and I split Pollo al Pastor (Achiote marinated chicken served with roasted vegetables, beans and pineapple relish) which was served with home made tortillas, rice & beans. It was absolutely more than enough food. Our kids had Beef tacos & Cheese Quesadillas (wasn’t on the menu, but they prepared it for us by request). It was a nice departure from the traditional chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese! Since kid meals are the way to go, theirs came with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream and Churros for dessert. Talk about delish!
